Mike Bolland is a motivational speaker whose life exemplifies resilience, innovation, and a positive mindset. Born without his right hand, Mike has defied limitations throughout his life, inspiring others to do the same. His journey began at a young age when he appeared in the 1974 film *The Trial of Billy Jack,* which sparked his interest in public speaking and media.
Mike made history as the first one-handed bowler to compete in the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), earning second place in a 1991 regional tournament. After his sports career, he transitioned into the corporate world, leading digital innovation and social media strategies for Discount Tire.
In 2016, after surviving cancer, Mike found renewed purpose as an advocate for the limb loss community. He founded the nonprofit “Joe & Marie Bolland’s Helping Hands,” which helps amputees gain access to prosthetics.
As the host of the *We’re Not Stumped* podcast, Mike shares stories of perseverance and triumph, interviewing amputees and experts in the prosthetics community.
In addition to his advocacy, Mike is also a stand-up comedian and the inventor of the “Two Fisted Drinker” mug. Through his diverse talents, Mike continues to uplift and inspire people nationwide.
